I have empathy for Charlie Sheen, but no respect for him as a father, a professional, or even a decent member of the human race. He is operating off a play book that has no relevance on this planet except for tyrants like Hitler and the like..............its called "self will run riot" . Is he anti-semetic?.................he is anti-everything that doesnt suit him at any particular time. He has fenced himself out from every rational human being. I believe in redemption and therefore beleve if CS makes an honest break from his meglamania there will be acceptance. I know that if he lives long enough, the day will come when he will regret his maniacal behavior. Sadly, in this process he has put himself above the good of his children..........a legacy that they will have to work to shake. I would counsel him that he should not be making decisions for them about how they should view the world.........regardless of what he thinks, he is not the standard and has no right to assume he knows what is best for them. My best advise to CS is to go on his knees to his father Martin and ask for help.........he loves him and can help him.

Thank you for writing a sensical, logical, and humane article about this fallen star. It's more than sad to see this happening before our eyes while the causes, namely her rediculous father bringing celebrity rehab crew to court, just to name today's. I really hope the judge can put his faith in her and give her this chance at life by dropping charges because the entire shop lifting incident is a joke and exploitation at it's best. A life intentionally ruined is the most malicious sentence you can give.

I'm sorry but she is making the system look rather comedic. A few years ago a 19 y.o. former co worker walked into the store I worked at in a mask as a joke (similar to the "scream" mask) and because a customer got pissed and reported him (he didnt see her because the mask blocked his peripheral vision) He ended up arrested, in court, parents used his brother's college savings & 2nd mortgaged the house. All for a silly teenage indiscretion. He got a huge fine and 4 days in jail. He could not apologize more to the woman even though when he entered I greeted him by name. He clearly wasn't threat. Does this sound like something LiLo would ever "suffer?" The system doesn't work most of the time and never againts Hollywood's Lohans, Sheens, Hiltons, Ritchies or Gibsons.

I don't think a felony conviction would end her acting career permanently or even temporarily for that matter. It seems the only way to effectively end your career in Hollywood is to be outside of favor of the Producers. Actors do not play or abide by the social rules we working class people do. Sure a felony conviction for me ends my career but an actor, I don't see that as a negative. For example, Robert Downey Jr, a convicted drug user/abuser is now at the top of the Hollywood ranks.

Surely, here's the bottom line: would he be guaranteed a fair trial outside the UK?

Is there reasonable doubt that he WOULDN'T?

Of course there is.

Thus, he shouldn't be extradited.

FYI, all the Wikileaks videos are on this hub:

Hey Susan its David,Im one of your Facebook friends.Probably if Ms. Lohan was held accountable for her acts then it could help with her addiction as well.Somehow if she ever feels she has hit rock bottom then and only then will she seek the help she needs. But notice I said when she seeks help.Only then can she beat her addiction. It probably wont happen because a judge sends her to a rehab. And only from seeking God to help her break this addiction can she can succeed.I sympathize with Ms. Lohan because behind all the stardom and cameras and money she is still a human being with very real thoughts & feelings. The addicted mind and body crys out for the substance that only a addict can understand. An addictive personality is not an easy thing to live with but it can be controlled with the proper help but only if she seeks the help herself.I agree that some serious jail time would be in order then she might decide she has hit rock bottom but as long as she is enabled by never really getting in trouble she will never feel like she has hit bottom. Then someday it could be to late which is a very real possibility.I say all this because i know a little bit about addiction. At age 12 I took my first drink of alcohol and I didnt know it then but I had this addictive gene and for the next 30yrs alcohol would ruin my life.On Dec. 14 2005 I quit drinking and have been sober since then,a little over 5 yrs now.So thats the reason I may seem a little more sympathetic for Ms. Lohan. She is still young enough to get her life back on track without a lot of regrets & mistakes. And that is my prayer for her along with so many other young people with addiction problems.
